Boyd began in films in silent movie days, but beginning with the film HOP-A-LONG CASSIDY (1935), with rare exception he devoted the remainder of his career to playing "Hoppy" in movies, radio, and television.
I'm very grateful for the many wonderful hours of entertainment Boyd gave us, and I'm sure my fellow Western fans feel the same. Thanks for everything, Hoppy.
